Linear Eclectic Atlas is a project of exploration, of walking and ongoing discovery of a section cutted on the city of Parma. Its attempt was to take consciousness of the city itself, trying to tell its times and spaces and to insert them in a subjective/objective continuous narration, based on the path of a section line.
"At every instant, there is more than the eye can see, more than the ear can hear, a setting or view waiting to be explored. Nothing is experienced by itself, but always in relation to its surroundings, the sequences of events leading up to it, the memory of past experiences." (Kevin Lynch, The image of the city, 1960)
This experimental work has been influenced by the works about reading, documenting and comprehension of the territories, such as the ones by Multiplicity lab, Stalker, Gabriele Basilico with his "Section of the italian landscape", Kevin Lynch, Micheal De Certeau, Rebecca Solnit and many others.
